There seemed to be something quite different about the scene at in Melbourne at Market Australia’s 8th annual Leadership School. The weather was just as nice maybe even a bit nicer than last year, we were in the same venue, and were warmed by the feeling of seeing our tenured business partners and filled with excitement at the zeal and potential of our newer ones. However with all of the familiarity there seemed to be something that was quite different. As the weekend moved on and I gazed into the eyes of all of the various attendees, whether they be from Perth or Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, Adelaide or the Sunshine Coast, it was there. That same brightness that same glow, and then I recognized it,….it was my old friend, that component that that makes everything work, without it everything else is merely a wish…it was belief.  A true sense of knowing that what we have spoken and worked for would surely come to pass, it was merely a matter of when. Being at our Leadership School there was no wonder why the atmosphere was filled with so much belief and unity.

Wanda Williams, our Director of Training opened the event with a very informative and inspirational message. She had an encore presentation on Sunday where she provided an in-depth look and the what and the whys of our UFO program. At this event with we had our largest number of UFOs with 21. We were we so extremely fortunate to have three very powerful presentations for Executive Field Vice- President Vikki Lee. Vikki created the proper mindset by sharing her insights on the importance of attitude. She implored the audience to build with confidence and if there were those would refused to make the climb, then we should cut the off and spend our time with our “Go Nows” . Like only she can, she She impressed upon everyone the importance of goal setting and the road to take when sponsoring new distributors and providing them the tools and steps they needed for effective duplication. After hearing Vikki it is easy to see why she is the successful person that she is.

Dr Deedra Mason empowered us with knowledge in the area of Health and Nutrition. This knowledge will certainly translate in to more retail sales and commissions.  She disseminated this information in a manner that was both interesting and entertaining. Her passion for Health and Nutrition was quite contagious and left she left the audience waiting in anticipation of her next visit.

Our web portal continues to evolve and Executive Field Development Consultant, Kevin Yip ensured that we understood how to maximize its functionality by navigating us through the portals various enhancements. Everyone should a strong working knowledge of their portal and likewise share this with their preferred customers.

In the same vein Jac Vandine, Affiliate Store Manager, updated us all on the partner stores. With Australia being one of the top countries there is no reason why we cannot increase the number of people shopping through our portals. With over 650 affiliate partners and application of the strategies shared by Jac and you are sure to see a dramatic increase in your BV and IBV.

This information coupled with the many testimonies in the area of health and wealth generated much energy and level of excitement was electric. No wonder the people believed the way that they did. However we didn’t stop there we shared with the them the most effective ways to prospect, recruit and sponsor, understanding that this is a process and ensuring that they kept the funnel full. In addition we stressed the importance of posturing themselves properly, Remembering that “like attracts like.” This is the answer to any challenge that may present itself to your business. From here Mark White and “Mr. Retailer”, Doug Mizzi teamed up to enlighten us on the ABC pattern and followed up as well as cross pollination and retailing.

Sal Esser, the Director of Motives by Loren Ridinger was most impressive as she expounded upon our extensive cosmetic line. In addition we got our first look at our new Elite. We are very excited for them and wish the much success. Then we heard from Carmel Zorzit on Transitions, and Lilly Lewis,  Web Center Trainer of the year, on the ways the build your business through our Web Center. Rising stars Eric and Rhonda Bailey, Fastest Growing Distributor of the Year, energized the crowd with a dynamic presentation on retailing and the importance of positive thinking.

Our gala was held on Saturday night and it was filled with recognition, elegance, information and entertainment. We shared the current status of the company and our goal to double in size with the next year. We identified the areas of improvement and encouraged everyone to never lower your expectations to the level of your performance. Our motto for 2011 is to “Retain and Add.”

We held our first MA has talent contest and it was absolutely fantastic! All the participants were great, however the winner was the “Dream Team” and what an exciting team they were…congratulations.

Quite naturally we have our awards ceremony and a huge congratulations goes out to Team Adelaide, Local Area of the Year. Addition award winners were; Lucy Liu, Certified Trainer of the Year, Tuni Komljenovic; Motives Trainer of the Year, Zhiming Chen;Reatiler of the Year, Jane and Jerry Lee; Recruiter of the Year, Fastest Growing Distributor, Mark and Candy White and Eric and Rhonda Bailey. We also had our very first Spirit of Market Australia award, and this year’s recipient was Migan Lee.   Congrats to all of the winners for a job well done.

By this time the belief was oozing out of our pores like sweat on a hot summers day. Angie Yip, Executive Field Development Consultant escalated the level with a creative presentation on the concept of our Base 20 seven strong. I can ensure you that if this concept is followed, which is a direct correlation with our UFO program, then the key result producing activities will become habitual and the desired results will be realized.

Finally, Migan and Ted Lee took us on a journey entitled the Unfranchise Way. Sharing the importance of following the system, building through the NMTSS, selling the product, selling the tickets and showing the plan.

It was quite an event. In my opinion it was the best that we have ever had. I feel we have charted a course that will enable us to experience expediential growth in all of our businesses. All we have to do is make a decision. Stop hoping and decide that, yes, I too can be the creator of my dreams the master of my destiny. I too can stop merely existing and start living. Yes, even I can be  great, and within this contribute to the success of any others. All this and more is possible…………..Do you believe? No need to answer I will be able to tell by your actions. Remember of us deserve any success we are unwilling to pursue.
